This image is acquired by the
Microwave Remote Sensing satellite
ERS-1. Microwaves are capable of
penetrating the atmosphere under
virtually all conditions like haze,light,
rain,snow and clouds.NRSA has
been acquiring SAR data in the
image mode from the ERS1/2
satellites from 1992 onwards.
Products can be supplied from
archived data or through
programming for future acquisitions.
