1. Introduction
NRSC has carried out approximately 400 nos of various aerial survey and photogrammetric mapping projects, spread over different states in the country, using the combination of different types of sensors for the vast user community. The following are few among them.

2. Aerial Survey Projects
2.1. National Projects

Aerial photography surveys over 4,50,000 sq km approximately spread over all states in India, with scales of photography ranging from 1 :6000 to 1 :50,000 for different user departments - Town and Country Planning Organisation (TCPO), Govt. of India, State Town Planning Departments, etc.

Multispectral scanner surveys over 60,000 sq km approximately, spread over different states in India.

Aeromagnetic surveys over 6,50,000 sq km in India for GSI, KDMIPE, DG'H, AMD, INDO-FRG, etc.

Synthetic aperture radar surveys over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Tamilnadu for ONGC, DEAL, DST, DOS.

- Aerial photography in OMAN -Ministry of Water Resources, Sultanate of OMAN
- Aerial photography in BHUTAN -Electric Power Corporation of Japan
- Aerial photography in NEPAL for highway alignment survey -ICM, Nepal
3. Photogrammetric Projects
Creation of digital terrain database and preparation of large scale topographic maps with 1 m contours, using DEM generated by analytical photogrammetric systems for the following projects:
- 20 sq km in Okhla area in Delhi for National Informatics Center.
- 31 towns in Tamilnadu for Town & Country Planning Department, Tamilnadu.
- 500 sq km in Mumbai for Maharashtra Infrastructure Development Corporation.
- 45 sq km in Chennai for TamilNadu Electricity Board.
- 600 sq km in and around Hyderabad for Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
- 1400 sqkm in and around Bangalore for Bangalore Development Authority. .5000 sq km spread over different towns in different states for Town and Country Planning Organisation (TCPO), Delhi.
- 500 sq km in Rajasthan for Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project.
- Preparation of topographical maps from Mapusa to Kolhapur area for power line alignment studies.
- Updation of large scale topographical maps for Delhi Development Authority .
- Inchampalli / Nagarjunasagar link canal mapping for National Water Development Authority (NWDA).
- Photogrammetric mapping and contour mapping for 160 km length of proposed railway line from Katra to Qazigund in Jammu & Kashmir .
- Railway line from Inchampalli to Kinnerasami of length 169 km.
- Railway line from Inchampalli to Gandanchakkalu of length 30 km.

Generation of orthophotos for earth quake effected areas in Gujarat for damage assessment for Disaster Management Board.

Generation of orthophotos for parts of Hyderabad under Indo-FRG programme.

Generation of large scale base maps and 1 m contours using DEM generated by automatic image correlation techniques for Malabar hills and Aravind Ashram areas for drainage pattern studies.
